PVG Productions were thrilled to be a part of the Lewisham Awards After Party held at Toto Bar, Nelson St, AKLD on 27 May. Toto Bar has 3 main areas - the lounge, the live entertainment area and the DJ area. We worked in the lounge and entertainment area.

The Toto Bar lounge speaks for itself with its antiquated feel, french directoire style furniture and a cute white baby grand in the corner. All we could do naturally was to highlight the ambience that already existed.

The live entertainment area was a different story as the structure of the room meant you had to work around pillars, beams, poles and odd angles. In these situations you have to either hide it all (which inflates the budget) or use the rooms weaknesses to its advantage. In this case we chose the latter using red uplighting and gold gobos against the wall to expand the rooms appeal.

A great night was enjoyed by all as they danced the night away to live 70’s & 80’s retro band UNION. It was also great to see all those hard working hospitality individuals kicking back and enjoying themselves for a change.
